The Philippines are the only Christian country in Asia. Proportionally, 80% are Catholic, 15% Protestant or Free Church, and 5% Muslim.

Since the country was a Spanish colony for 400 years and later it was in the care of the Americans for decades, every Filipino speaks English fluently, which makes communication much easier. Filipinos are very courteous, friendly and peace-loving people.

The region surrounding our diving centre in the south of Leyte is not affected by tsunamis and earthquakes, and there is no risk of volcanic eruptions, typhoons and religious or political unrest either. That’s the reason why we opened our centre here!

After 18 years of experiencing the country and people, we are able to sum up the situation as follows: extremely nice, cooperative people, a subtropical climate, excellent diving locations & sublime food influenced by Thai and Chinese cooking –  you can simply say tasty!
